Welcome!

Thanks for visiting my blog where I hope to post my own creations after learning from so many others who have shared with me. I have been married to a wonderful and supportive man for twelve years and have two amazing little boys that keep me busy. I love scrapbooking as a creative outlet and a way to remind our family of the great memories we've enjoyed. I also make cards from time to time. I just started my blog in February and hope to constantly update it. Where ever you go, may you be inspired.

The Love of a Brother Layout

I made this layout of my two boys the first week after little Sam was born. Daniel adored him! The booklet on the right is a 3-tab file folder set I designed using Make-the-Cut and the title was cut using the Opposites Attract Cricut cartridge. Thanks for stopping by.

Turtle Time Layout

I just finished up a new layout about a day my boys got to see some real turtles. This cut pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs was perfect for the layout and thanks to their weekly blog challenge, I had a sketch to work from. I used pattern paper from a monkey stack I just picked up at Hobby Lobby and the font is Annoying Kettle. Thanks for visiting!

Look at Me! Layout

My boys are both at the the "Look at me, Mom...Watch me!" phase. And most of the time I get great delight out of watching them jump and do amazing feats. The title was cut with the Opposites Attract cricut cartridge with mirror paper cut inside the "OO". This picture below shows the blue photo matchbook opened, bringing the total pictures of this layout to twelve; I love finding new ways to add more pictures.

I can do this and I can do that.

I’m quick as whip and sharp as a tack.

I jump and I bounce to show off my stuff.

I’m talented, spirited, and so full of love.

I’m ready to do, my most amazing feat yet,

Just watch and you’ll see me soar like a jet.

Oh will you please, won’t you please…

Just LOOK at Me

Life is a Journey Layout

I just love black and white pictures. This was a fun layout I made using a compass from ScrappyDew.comMake-the-Cut software to create the "Life is a" title, journaling words, and ring border, and the Cricut cartridge, Graphically Speaking, for the word "Journey" and arrows. I had fun designing this layout and every time I see the pictures of my little guy, especially walking with his dad, I smile. The journaling says "He who has hope has everything, every possibility begins with the courage to imagine. Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today."

My Little Monsters Layout

Here I used Cricut's Mini Monster cartridge to create the two monsters and Boys will be Boys for the rocket and ray gun. I used Make-the-Cut software for the title. Sometimes, my boys are little monsters, but that's part of what makes them so loveable. Thanks for visiting. Have a great day.

Harvest Time Layout

Here's a fall layout I did using Imaginisce paper (Apple Cider) and cricut cartridges for the die cuts: From My Kitchen and Feelin' Groovy (title). I got the idea from Annie's Attic book,  Scrapbooking with Cricut.

Great Milestones Layout

Here's a layout I made awhile ago of one of my sweet boys. I love how pictures fold out with more hidden pictures behind. It's a little hard to tell from the photo here. Anyway, I used the cricut cartridges: Opposites Attract and Winter Woodlands for the title.

Got Milk? Card

Today I made a card using the Cute Cookie pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and designed the title in Make the Cut. I loved this little guy as soon as I saw him and started thinking about how I love milk and cookies. Well, my boys love Cookie Monster and LOVE cookies...can't you just picture the scrapbook layout now?

Crisp Days of Fall Layout

This is a simple page I made using SEI pattern paper, Playday, and sunflowers available with the Make-the-Cut software. I love fall days and always hope for a photo shoot with my kids in the leaves. I was very fortunate this year to have a 20 minute slot to catch some smiles in a little park before the rain started falling.

Jolly Holidays Layout

Here is a layout I made last year with pics of my boys seeing Santa. I just love the expression on my older son as he meets the toy maker. I used my Cricut cartridge, Winter Woodlands, to cut the house, title and snowman. The paper is from SEI, Alpine Frost. The picture doesn't catch the iridescent watermarks on the paper, it is very pretty.

Holidays with the Herd Layout

This winter season I've been trying to catch up on all my past Christmas memories. I made this layout recently after being inspired by some reindeer cuts from My Scrap Chick. I made the title using Make-the-Cut software and MS Word for the small labels. I used some beautiful paper from SEI called Wintersong that has velvet flowers. I just loved the paper and the adorable reindeer.

Christmas Joys Layout

This is a recent layout I finished from Christmas a few years ago. I used My Scrap Chick and Cricut for the main piecings. The title was cut using Make-the-Cut software and I used a Martha Stewart punch for the dripping icicles.

This Santa peeker was a paper piecing form My Scrap Chick

This North Pole sign and the elf (below) are cuts from the Cricut cartridge  Jolly Holidays.

Whooo Loves You Baby? Layout

First Post, I'm a Blogger now!
In honor of love and Valentine's Day, I created this layout. I purchased the owl on a limb from Silhouette Studio and designed the rest of the images using Make-the-Cut software. I am brand new to blogging (today is Day 1), but I am not new to scrapbooking. I made my first mini scrapbook twelve years ago to chronicle my husband and my dating relationship. I've grown a lot since then and acquired a lot more tools. Well, I hope you like the layout and I hope to get a few more pictures of my creations up on my blog. Have a great day!
